Crafted Highlights:
In this role you will contribute strategic leadership to optimize efficiency and performance across all brewing operations at our Fraser Valley Brewery. You will oversee financial and operational performance, asset care and reliability, brewing scheduling, quality, manufacturing systems, and project management. This role will ensure high-quality products are packaged cost-effectively and lead the integration of new products, brewing processes, and testing protocols.
This person reports to the General Manager Operations, Western Canada.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Responsible for safely optimizing efficiency in all areas of brewing utilizing WCSC principles and practices which contribute to world class standards of operation through utilizing, monitoring and evaluating our SPQSCR to continuously improve performance
- Pursue and implement cost savings and optimization opportunities within a balanced scorecard aligned with Corporate Brewing best practices
- Optimize brewery performance with emphasis on the brewing department by providing oversight to maximize brewery product flow from brewing to finished product shipments to distributors
- Provide oversight for asset care strategy development, processes and practices and capital projects and expenditures
- Ensure high quality of finished product, ensuring adherence to all Molson Coors brewing community and quality standards and procedures
- Develop local brewing strategy, setting objectives and priorities and leading the change management process for our brewery
- Ensure process and operating control, supporting employees in meeting these operating standards both directly and indirectly
- Lead team performance, talent, and career management
Key Ingredients:
- At least 5 years in a progressive role in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years managing exempt level employees
- BA or BS in brewing technology, biology, microbiology, food science, or engineering discipline or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of brewing practices
- Expertise in asset care principles
- In-depth knowledge of utilities systems and their impact on brewing processes
- Demonstrated leadership in managing personnel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
