In the role of Safety Lead working onsite at our Fort Worth, Texas, Brewery, you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain Safety Team. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a comprehensive safety, industrial hygiene, and fire protection environment.
Under the direction of the Safety Manager, the Safety Lead will aid in providing direction and where appropriate execution on actions that ensure compliance with OSHA and General Industry Consensus Standards. This is accomplished by leading program development and analysis, managing risk, prioritizing exposure evaluations, and auditing for compliance with existing and proposed regulatory requirements, and developing preventive measures for controlling potential occupational health and safety employee injuries and illnesses, property damage, and industrial hygiene exposures.
This position reports to Safety Manager and works closely with other leaders in the Brewery.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- You will support the development and implementation of health and safety programs, policies and procedures
- This role supports incident investigations
- Always ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local government safety codes and regulations
- Partners with corporate health and safety in the implementation of identified critical health and safety initiatives
- You will maintain procedures to ensure that only safe tools, equipment and supplies are purchased for brewery use
- You will Support health and safety management programs and elements
- This role supports Safety Manager in educating brewery on safety culture process and with all safety regulatory compliance requirements
- Maintains company safety policies and incident prevention programs for the purpose of prevention of injuries and near misses.
- Support, maintain and analyze accurate safety KPI’s (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Coach WCSC principles and represent the EHS Pillar through coaching Daily Managements Systems (EHS Trigger, QRP, JSA, Safety Maps, etc.) at Trio and Department DDS meetings.
- Support timely implementation of corrective actions arising from the safety audits, incident investigations and any learnings from hazard alerts.
- Actively contributes to safety projects to help drive change and mitigate risk.
- Lead, develop implement and communicate safety programs, policies, safety talks, etc.
Key Ingredients:
- You to have a BS or BA in safety, engineering, or related field and/or a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing leading and improving safety and health performance and regulatory compliance
- Practical and serviceable knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety and health national industry standards
- Ability and willingness to train employees in safe work practices, procedures and the like
- Good, proven hazard and risk recognition skills
- Must be able to assess and propose solutions for hazard elimination and work practice improvements
- Previous PSM experience preferred
- Previous HazMat experience or the like preferred

Pay and Benefits:
At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $92,100.00 - $120,900.00 (posting salary range) + 10% target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
