Crafted Highlights:
The Technician - Packaging position operates and maintains packaging area equipment including packers, fillers, labelers, seamers, depalletizes, palletizers, wrappers, and other associated equipment. Executes autonomous maintenance as an equipment owner, while supporting continuous improvement efforts around safety, quality, and cost.
What You’ll Be Brewing:

Operates, sanitizes, and maintains all packaging line equipment, including completing autonomous maintenance tasks (lubrication, adjustments, troubleshooting) to ensure efficient, quality production.

Completes required reporting and documentation related to safety, quality, productivity, waste, training, and line performance; performs line checks, supports audits, investigations, and hazard analysis.

Reads and interprets schedules, procedures, and instructions while coordinating with team members, maintenance, quality, and other specialists to support smooth operations and process improvements.

Supports onboarding and training of new team members, collaborates on effective shift handovers, and assists in implementing process changes and WCSC 2.0 standards.

Maintains a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by identifying unsafe practices, participating in safety initiatives, and performing housekeeping in line with GMP requirements.

Responsible for operating, understanding, and rotating through all pieces of packaging equipment. Responsible for the sanitation of all equipment on the assigned line.

Responsible for autonomous maintenance of valves, motors, pumps, filter and gear boxes including lubricating all machinery, making necessary operational adjustments, troubleshooting identified issues, and ensuring equipment is running efficiently producing a quality product.

Responsible for adherence to published schedules and knowledge/expertise to make solid business decisions on shift basis, in modification of schedule as required.
Key Ingredients:

High school education or equivalent required
-
Ability to obtain a Fork truck license
-
Knowledge in MS Outlook and MS Word
-
High level of mechanical aptitude/ability
-
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Safe Quality Food Procedures, and Safety

Must be a minimum of 21 years old.

3+ years in manufacturing experience in an operator based maintenance role – performing set-up, operation, changeover, and maintenance of equipment, systems, and tooling, or a minimum of an associates degree. Military service may be substituted for manufacturing experience.

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and make decisions in a team-based setting.

Ability to work full-time, all shifts, all schedules, and all days of the week to include weekends and holidays.

Ability to be called in for emergency coverage and work overtime as necessary.
