Crafted Highlights:    

The Set-up Operator - Dispatch position is responsible for performing a variety of responsibilities within the logistics area to maintain excellent service to our customers by performing the following duties: 

 

What You’ll Be Brewing: 

  • Monitors and tracks trailer movement in SAP and physical location on property.   

  • Upon carrier’s arrival creates record in SAP to record trailer number, assign location in lot, verifies trailer length, weight of trailer, type of trailer, etc. 

  • Works with Plant Services to verify/correct data integrity issues, problem IBDs, Load assignments, Carrier status issues, inbound material status issues. 

  • Provides off shift contact to outside carriers on any fleet issues for a particular carrier. 

  • Coordinate with Beer flow, Warehouse, on all deliveries requiring rework. 

  • Upon load out, checks seal number of departing trailer, verifying scale tickets to ensure weight within legal compliance, retains copy of record and completes transaction in SAP to indicate trailer load has been completed and left site. 

  • From bill of lading assigns load to trailer and notifies beer flow of location of trailer on the lot. 

  • Provide notification to Beer Flow of trailers available for loading and unloading. 

  • Answering phones and being able to assist yard jockeys, beer flow, brewery, as well as outside driver/ carriers 

  • Provides work instruction to Dispatch Support personnel in execution of their work assignments. 

  • Systematically checks drivers in and out of the premises. 

  • Responsible for and dedicated to personal and team safety in relation to completion of tasks and duties. 

  • Responsible for and dedicated to quality in relation to completion of tasks and duties. 

  • Responsible for any other duties and tasks as assigned by Management. 

 

 

 

Key Ingredients:  

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent 

  • Safety awareness 

  • Knowledge in MS Outlook and MS Word 

  • Excellent customer service skills 

  • Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work in an office setting 

  • Ability to work full-time, all shifts, all schedules, and all days of the week to include weekends and holidays. 

  • Ability to be called in for emergency coverage and work overtime as necessary.
