Crafted Highlights:
The Sales Manager-Off Premise in Denver, CO, develops the strategy and plan for the liquor channel, manages the store level execution through the ASM’s, tracks business performance, and is responsible for the training and staffing of the team.

This position reports to the Director of Sales.


What You'll Be Brewing:  

Sales Leadership & Strategy (50%)

  • Responsible for developing strategies that enable the sales teams to maximize CDC sales while aligning them to the supplier-specific sales objectives
  • Optimize execution of CDC’s in-market programming, with particular emphasis on the fundamentals of the business including distribution, displays, merchandising, shelf management, and pricing
  • Collaborates and partners with suppliers, retailers, marketing, and sales leadership to optimize sales of CDC products and ensures that in this collaboration the team is focused on activities that grow the business
  • Track and evaluate sales performance to achieve sales objectives for the liquor channel

 

Relationship Management (20%)

  • Partners with the CDC Operations Leadership team (e.g., Warehouse, Delivery, and Routing teams) to ensure effective collaboration between departments and efficient utilization of the resources available to CDC
  • Manage relationships between CDC and assigned customer base; ensure that CDC meets customer standards of performance
  • Leads and maintains positive working relationships with all suppliers and retail partners
  • Works hand in hand with CDC’s support departments including Category Management, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, HR team

 

Performance & Talent Management (20%)

  • Provide leadership in talent and people management, sales training, employee development and effective recruitment/onboarding to drive employee engagement and great results 

 

Compliance (10%)

  • Executes sales & marketing programs with knowledge of LED and Trade Practice requirements & expectations
  • Ensures quality assurance of CDC products at retail through the implementation and execution of a robust quality assurance process
  • Compliance with all CDC and regulatory safety requirements, policies, procedures and rules

Key Ingredients:  

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Sales, Marketing, Management or related field preferred
  • Requires 6+ years previous experience in sales management and people leadership
  • Requires 8+ years of sales experience
  • Experience in alcohol/beverage, consumer goods, three-tier system/DSD is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales analytics, ability to identify performance trends, and development/execution of plans based on the trends
  • Experience with pricing and knowledge of pricing decisions and the impacts of those decisions from a sales perspective
  • Position requires face-to-face contact with customers/retailers in the market. This may occur outside of normal working hours
  • Must have valid driver’s license and MVR must be within the Molson Coors Pre-Employment Background Screening Guidelines

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $126,500.00 - $166,000.00 (posting salary range) + target sales incentives $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
