POS Warehouse Assistant

In the role of Marketing Services Assistant, working in Denver, CO, you will be responsible for providing assistance with central receiving and general administrative duties related to the Marketing Services Department. You are also responsible for the storage and movement of POS items within the facility in a manner that encourages use in the marketplace.  This person will also oversee all responsibilities associated with the receipt and repair of damaged or non-working neons.  They will also help update out of date neons.

 

The position reports to the Marketing Services Manager

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Unload, verify, and receive POS shipments including logging of items and entry into Verian
  • Central receiving responsibilities include general package receiving and distribution of non-POS items to appropriate recipients throughout the building
  • Stock and store POS items in a way that helps ensure the warehouse stays organized and POS is easy to locate
  • Kitting of POS and swag for account-specific or thematic programs
  • Rotation of monthly/seasonal focus POS.
  • Display and showcase key items to help drive awareness and excitement around important pieces.
  • Assist with administrative and maintenance responsibilities for the team
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in the POS Warehouse
  • Receive damaged neons and determine the cost-effectiveness and feasibility of fixing neons versus piecing out parts
  • Responsible for repair of damaged and non-working neons
  • Order neon parts and purchase necessary supplies
  • Provide input to POS orders as needed and help identify gaps in key POS items to support sales needs
  • Inform brand managers when priority POS items are getting low in inventory
  • Help fill gaps in supplier-produced POS where appropriate to ensure proper availability of priority items to support monthly objectives

The Other Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in Warehouse, Retail Operations, or Merchandising required
  • High level of ethics and personal accountability
  • Prompt and clear verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to meet deadlines

 

  • Must be able to work early mornings
  • The position requires physical presence within CDC
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle the repetitive heavy lifting and various other forms of manual labor
