Coors Distributing Company (CDC) is one of the nation’s leading beer distributors based out of Denver, CO. We are the critical link between our brewery suppliers that produce the beer and the retail outlets where they are sold, as well as the restaurants and bars where they are consumed. The Headlines:

In the role of HR & Safety Coordinator, working in Denver, CO you will support aspects of the HR & Safety functions at CDC. You will assist in ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety program standards. 


The Responsibilities:

  • New Hire Onboarding & New Hire Orientation 

    •  Pre-employment processing, new hire paperwork collection/follow up and ensuring new hire is ready for Day 1​​​​​​

    • Content creation and owning all aspects of new hire orientation (swag bags, ordering supplies, scheduling facilitator, etc)

  • HRMS subject matter expert and lead HR contact (enters new hires, facilitates promotions/transfers with manager self-service, maintains data integrity, assists employees with address changes, password resets, etc…)

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Responsible for assisting in safety training all CDC fleet operators (small fleet, forklift and other warehouse-related equipment) on:

    • Safe and defensive driving techniques

    • Managing and partnering with Operations to own the forklift certification process, including training files, certification acknowledgments and final sign off.

  • Creates, updates and presents specialized safety education and training materials.

  • Facilitates new hire orientation safety training components, in addition ongoing new hire safety onboarding follow up.

  • Maintains up-to-date records of OSHA required trainings for all employees. 

  • Assists EHS Manager with Ergonomics Safety training process.

  • ​​​​​​​Assists in conducting on-site/job inspections to identify and evaluate hazardous workplace conditions.  Makes recommendations to reduce workplace injuries.


The Other Qualifications: 


  • 2-4 years of related Human Resources and/or EHS experience required

  • Basic knowledge with OSHA regulations and guidelines

  • Experience with ergonomics/proper body mechanics techniques.

  • Aptitude for teaching/coaching and facilitating training in both small and large groups

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) advanced proficiency.

  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workload. 

  • Time management skills are essential, to ensure timely response to candidates, customers and team.

  • Innovation and growth mindset – ability to think creatively about solutions and look for efficiencies in all aspects of their work. 

  • Must have high integrity, focused on winning the right way as an individual, a team and organization, while maintaining a level of confidentiality required for a role in HR.

Job Posting Salary Range: $46,200 - $66,500
