The Headlines

As a member of the Restaurant Staff, you will get the opportunity to work in our Blue Moon Brewing Company Restaurant as part of the U.S. Imports and Crafts Team. This role develops and executes innovative and exciting menu options that parallel Blue Moon’s premium beers. You will work closely with local farmers and purveyors to source regional and hand-crafted ingredients. Staffing, scheduling, and supervising an elite kitchen team is also a responsibility of the Executive Chef.

 

This position reports to the General Manager and works closely with Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Managers, Sous Chefs, and fellow Blue Moon Hourly Restaurant Ambassadors.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with head brewmaster to ensure the right beer and food pairings to drive revenue

  • Deliver a fun and creative menu that elevates the standards for traditional brewery fare

  • Strive to continuously improve the skills and aptitude of the kitchen staff with minimal staff turnover

  • Educate Resultant Staff on menu items (Daily, Seasonal, Special Events)

  • Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients while maintaining lean food costs

  • Will work as executive chef team to ensure the best quality for restaurant and catering is obtainable

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • Culinary Degree preferred

  • 5 plus years leading a high-volume kitchen

  • Deep understanding of food costs and margins

  • Ability to efficitnely and cost-effectively run a lean kitchen

Job Posting Salary Range: $61,200 - $88,000
