The Headlines:
In the role of Assistant Manager working in Denver, Colorado you will be part of the Blue Moon Brewing Company team. You will be responsible for making sure the entire FOH team provides the absolute best customer service we can offer by training new staff on proper service standards and operating procedures. This role works closely with the BMBC Restaurant Manager to make sure there are always adequate servers, bartenders, and hosts in place to guarantee customers receive proper attention. The Assistant Manager will interact with all guests to help foster a warm and welcoming environment. This role is responsible for overseeing all nightly closing procedures; sever check-out and credit card batching, logging daily activity, leaving notes for opening manager, making sure all servers and bartenders have done closing side work, and setting alarms.
The Responsibilities:
- Ensure every customer, every time, has a memorable experience.
- Supervise server check-outs and daily credit card batches
- Make sure all EOD cash drawers and credit balances are accurate.
- Guarantee all guests receive special personalized treatment
- Knowledgeable about our products and our company.
- Ensure proper customer and employee behavior
- Ensure full compliance with premise control plan at all times
- Effectively manage staffing for bartenders, server, hostess, foe runners and bussers
- Support Manager in request
- Ensure the staff is educated on daily and monthly specials
- Support Chef and brewmaster in educating the staff on appropriate food and beer pairings
- Ensure Staff compliance with all applicable policies and procedures as well as safety requirements
- Develops a team-oriented atmosphere where everyone contributes to the customer
- Serves beer and food when necessary
The Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years continuous experience in upper-level restaurant management in high-volume establishment
- Must demonstrate a consistent career history in the F&B industry and/or brewing industry (no job-hopping)
- Passionate and knowledgeable about beer
- Unwavering attention to detail
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Team player that’s willing to help out wherever needed
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to make critical decisions under high pressure situations
- Sharp problem-solving skills
- Degree in Hospitality and/or Restaurant Management preferred
- Experience working in a large-scale brewery
- Experience with ALOHA POS
- Genuine enthusiasm and excitement for the brewery and restaurant atmosphere
- Self-motivated
- Highly disciplined
- Comfortable interacting with the general public
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Must have a passion for providing stellar customer service
- Deep knowledge of craft beer

Job Posting Salary Range: $42,200-$68,600
