The Headlines:

This position reports to the Director, Finance Marketing and works closely with our marketing organization and various finance teams.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • This role provides support through a financial role supporting the Above Premium Brand team.  Monthly financial and profitability analysis coupled with brand commercial metrics [share, velocity, distribution etc] is pivotal to support the brand team with key decision making analysis
  • Supporting the brand team to deliver on marketing expense, Promo Pack and G&A Budgets through identification of Risks and Opportunities with spend and profitability.
  • Generate Feasibility analysis in support of all brand promotional packaging projects, liase with ISC, materials planning and procurement to track and manage spend and minimize obsolescence
  • Present to the Brand VP and his team, their brands respective financial performance on a quarterly basis
  • Obtain information from customers and business partners to draw conclusions about business processes, take a systematic approach to evaluating alternatives, and make recommendations to management
  • Use accounting principles and knowledge of internal controls to provide objective, timely, and accurate financial information
  • Use financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide practical counsel to business unit partners and to help drive business results
  • Review, evaluate, and prioritize tasks/project assignments and communicate key issues to management

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • SAP, HANA, Excel Vlook up and working knowledge of Pivot tables, powerpoint,
  • You have a relative 4-year degree and at least 4+ years of financial analyst experience
  • You have solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (CPA or CMA preferred but not required)
  • Highly adaptable to working in a very dynamic environment and infusing competitor data and impact into your brands analysis.
  • You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. 
  • Solid communicator to present to all levels of the marketing team including brand VP
  • You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent cross functional relationships within the business
