The Headlines:

In the role of Chain Sales Manager working in Chicago, IL or remotely in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, or Detroit, you will be part of the Great Lakes Region Sales Team. You will be accountable for profitably achieving business results (revenue, volume, share, profit) for assigned chain accounts, by leading and directing their team, as well as internal and external resources to execute the sales objectives and activities which: address current dynamics; are in alignment with overall company goals to deliver volume, profit, share and overall ‘brand health’; and optimize the use of team resources.

You will build strategic partnerships at the appropriate level with retail customers, the Molson Coors Beverage Company (MCBC) distributor sales organization, and distributor partners across the account base to maximize achievement of MCBC business results.    

This position reports to the Sr Director Chain Accounts and works closely with Distributors, Internal Distributor Sales team, Category Management partners and the Regional Marketing team.   

   

The Responsibilities:

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of talented colleagues, build capabilities, seek continuous improvement by fostering a learn everyday environment, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations  
  • Lead the implementation of Channel plans across Chain and independent retailers with appropriate Distributor Sales Organization counterparts, utilizing national channel strategies to guide the work
  • Lead and coach team as they leverage MCBC Joint Business Plan routine annually and on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate execution via clear, concise communication to ensure alignment with retailer operations, management units and distributor partners.
  • Coaching your team to execute effectively in-market and identify opportunities to be first choice for our customers and consumers  

   

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field OR equivalent experience
  • You have 5+ years working with CPG companies and related partners
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities  
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome    
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments    
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
