Marketing Manager - Topo Chico

This individual is a brand champion for the high profile and strategically important Hard Seltzer portfolio and is accountable for delivering impactful, integrated plans that position Topo Chico Hard Seltzer as a top three in the hard seltzer category.

 

Leads the overall family of brands strategy for all the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer including brand foundations, annual brand planning and master brand equity communications (video, flat, audio,etc). In addition, this individual will own the creation and execution of the brand social strategy, earned media & influencers and responsible for the media plan and all components (strategy, planning, execution).

 

Responsible for delivery of the brand's strategic deliverables, commercial outcomes such as hitting NSR targets, managing BME Spend to agreed levels, and hitting brand equity KPI’s annually.

 

Leads engagements with external and internal resources to deliver each brands ‘strategy, ensuring that the brand plans fully integrate into the broader organization’s activation calendar, and has full system engagement and support behind the plans.

 

Owns the day-to-day relationship with brand owners (Coca-Cola), key point of contact for agency partners, and is responsible for ensuring that key commercial and legal obligations to the brand owners are understood and delivered by Molson Coors. Works closely with MCBC Legal, Strategy Teams in this respect.

 

Leads the development and coaching of Associate Marketing Manager.

 

The Responsibilities 

  • Defines vision for resource allocation across 360 degrees of the marketing mix nationally.
  • Brand Analysis
  • Financial planning for assigned brand
  • Leads Brand Planning Process
  • Managing initiatives with scope across the enterprise and collaboration with internal stakeholders including executives.
  • Selling marketing brand & national level 360 degree programming strategy to external stakeholders including distributors and key retailers.
  • Identifies opportunities and target consumers
  • Defines strategic direction independently or in conjunction with Sr. Director (depending on brand)
  • Links multiple, complex data sources into actionable business ideas
  • Creative development across multiple marketing mix elements & platforms.
  • Effectively leads, manages, and develops employees to create a culture of superior performance and foster top talent
  • Achieve volume, profit, and brand health targets
  • Manages brand portion of the P&L
  • Drive execution across all elements of marketing mix
  • Develop, manage and ensure execution of brand programs, creative and other elements of the marketing mix, delegating certain programs to direct reports.  Ensure program results are measured, reported, and used to inform path forward.
  • Clearly communicate all brand programs.  Provide clear direction and demonstrate leadership through meeting timelines.  Understand brand strategies, link to channel strategies and apply them to the development of brand programs and creative messaging.

 

The Other Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree in business or marketing preferred
  • 7 years of related work experience
  • CPG Marketing
  • Advertising experience with TV and secondary media
  • Experience collaborating with sales on implementation of retail based marketing programs
