In the role of  Consumer Insights Analyst, you’ll plan, design and conduct various consumer research studies (including both qualitative and quantitative methods) and help build the “voice of the consumer” for our Economy and Non-Alc brand teams by providing strategic partnership and thought leadership. 
 
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Brand Insights and works closely with internal and external stakeholders including brand teams, agencies, and research suppliers. There may be occasional travel (less than once per month) associated with this position.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • You’ll lead the development and analysis of large scale research studies, both qualitative and quantitative, across multiple brands.
  • You'll develop hypotheses and provide deep and actionable strategic and tactical insights and recommendations for multiple cross-functional teams.
  • You'll support key decision making across multiple brands through project design, execution, analysis, and insight sharing.
  • You'll have primary responsibility for ownership of the learning agenda in support of the brand marketing team, driving understanding and information gap filling on these brands.
  • You’ll connect the dots among data sources and studies in the Insights department (primary, secondary, tracking, consumer, trade, local, multicultural, etc.) and define the analysis techniques to answer key brand, segment, and category level questions.
  • You’ll identify and manage partner relationships, and will continuously seek new and innovative ways to bring external thinking to our business practice, working with vendors to drive best-in-class and cutting edge learning in all projects as needed.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience (2+ years) of consumer research experience (Supplier, Client, or Agency) 
  • You are strong with analytics (have conducted primary and familiar with secondary research) 
  • You have a working knowledge of a broad range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and experience in determining appropriate research approaches 
  • You can identify and synthesize consumer information to provide insights to key stakeholders 
  • You have strong organization and communication skills
  • You have a growth mindset, with the curiosity and proactiveness to find new ways of doing things
