In the role of Associate Marketing Manager - Innovation, you’ll build some of the most iconic brands, shaping culture and changing the way consumers enjoys beer. You’ll get to operate as a business owner, effectively blending the art & science of marketing–all while having over 300 years of brewing heritage behind you.To help you do this and grow your career, you will participate in the Associate Marketing Manager Rotational program that focuses on building breadth of marketing experiences in a holistic way. 

 

In this specific role, you will be responsible for developing new products that bring refreshment to consumers, make more people want to hang out with us and drive the brand’s growth into the future.

 

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Innovation & Product Development:
    • Bring new products to life from start to finish from idea to concept to design to feasibility.    
    • Act as the hub of the wheel of cross functional working teams, working closely with R&D, project management, insights, finance, sales and more to lead the project through innovation and commercialization processes and ensure milestones are achieved.
    • Manage external partners, working with strategic innovation agencies, design agencies and more during the development of new ideas.

 

  • Strategic marketing capability
    • Develop innovation ideas and platforms in support of company strategy as well as brand strategy, and will make recommendations on proposition, reasons to believe, claims and forecast to ensure your innovation delivers desired results to help the company deliver on our long range plan
    • Work in lock step with consumer insights and leverage commercial and trend data to identify and validate innovation opportunities and help build innovation strategies for new brands and our priority existing brands.
    • Communicate innovation rationale to leadership as well as internal and external sales audiences with compelling sell stories.
  • Business Management & Commercial Fluency
    • Responsible for using various internal and external business and retail analytics tools to analyze business performance and develop impactful insights to help inform innovation opportunities.
    • Build business cases and success metrics for new innovations in partnership with brand, sales, planning and finance teams.
    • Manage brand budget, including PO and invoice processing as well as tracking and forecasting.

  • Must love beer

  • An ability to be comfortable with both working through ambiguity and with boldly driving to recommendations and decisions
  • A strong strategic thinker who understands both the big picture and how to execute effectively
  • A natural communicator who clearly and persuasively connects with any audience
  • An intellectually curious and creative thinker who has a passion for brand building
  • Demonstrated experience in relevant field, including marketing, innovation, agency strategy, business management, etc.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods, beverage, or alcohol is preferred
  • Must love beer!

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $94,000.00 - $123,400.00 (posting salary range) + 10target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
