In the role of Portfolio Strategy Manager working in Chicago, IL you will be part of the Marketing Team.
The Responsibilities:
- Assists Manager of Portfolio Strategy in development of the NA Portfolio Strategy including identification and sizing of whitespaces, brand roles, resource allocation, & overall segment prioritization
- Interacts with senior leadership to share evaluation of portfolio priorities and opportunity spaces
- Gathers and analyzes data to inform competitive and category analysis; works with their Manager to build out stories based on data
- Develops model(s) to analyze and evaluate future category performance to determine expected brand performance and resource allocation
- Aids in development of subsegment strategies to enable implementation and execution of Portfolio Strategy priorities
- Supports in the development of frameworks for replicable brand analysis
- Assists in communication and education of Portfolio Strategy
- Works closely with the Portfolio Strategy Manager (and Strategy team) on overall portfolio strategy, support of LRP planning, and brand strategy development
- Supports CMO in relevant brand/category analyses
The Other Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree (or above) in Marketing, business or related curriculum
- 2+ years experience with Consulting, Analytics, Brand, Insights, or comparable area (ex: revenue management, strategy)
- 1+ years working on growth strategy, brand strategy, or planning strongly preferred
- Ability to ‘hit the ground running’ will require:
