The Headlines:

In the role of Finance Manager, in Albany, Georgia you will be part of the Brewery Finance team and be responsible for the monthly reporting and consolidation of financial results and forecasts for the Brewery, including, but not limited to delivering timely and transparent operational and financial reporting, and providing analytics, advice and recommendations to help leadership make informed decisions to reduce costs, enhance controls and achieve goals and plans.

This position works on-site at the Brewery reporting to the Brewery Controller and manages the Financial Analysts and Accounting Coordinator activities. Reviews finance activities performed by off-site shared service resources. Provides broad support spanning brewery and corporate stakeholders to include budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics. Focus areas span developing finance analyst team skills, oversight of reporting and commentary for monthly and quarterly variances, quarterly physical inventories, annual standard costing, timely and accurate payroll processing, and cost savings initiatives.

 

The Responsibilities:

Directs and manages the monthly financial reporting and forecasting processes for the Brewery, ensuring that reporting is accurate and actionable

Manages and directs the functions of the brewery finance area in accordance with company and brewery policies and procedures

Partners with business owners to understand underlying business processes to reduce waste and improve efficiencies in the brewery

Prepare business cases and ROI proposals for capital projects

Leads the annual financial budgeting process

Develops and grows direct reports by providing talent management leadership and strong capability development

Drives improvements in brewery financial reporting that delivers cost savings

Excise Tax filing for the brewery

Supports audit and SOX activities

The Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance AND/OR 4 or more years of progressive Finance leadership experience; manufacturing experience with supervision of employees preferred

Experience in Excel or spreadsheet execution (proficient with Microsoft products; SAP and

You demonstrate effective influence & collaboration without formal authority

You are detail oriented with critical focus on producing quality results and can translate financial principles into simple processes and business solutions

You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
