Your purpose

Join our dynamic team on a Mobile, UK basis as a Senior Customer Business Manager, focusing on our partnership with Tesco. As a leader in this role, you will drive our commercial strategy and oversee all interactions with Tesco to achieve targeted profits and company objectives. Your responsibilities include strategizing, planning, and executing initiatives in alignment with our brand and trading strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Business Unit Controller or Channel Director to develop and execute the customer strategy, taking calculated risks to benefit long-term business goals.
  • Lead the Customer Business Planning process, setting priorities for the Multi-Functional Selling team.
  • Take full ownership of achieving commercial targets for Tesco, ensuring alignment and integration across channels and support functions.
  • Identify and capitalize on incremental commercial opportunities within Tesco, implementing an effective contact strategy.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Promote continuous learning, provide coaching and mentorship, and invest in personal development.


About you:

  • Proven experience in account management within a Top 4 Grocery multiple, specifically Tesco.
  • Track record of delivering against Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Plan metrics, including EBIT, Volume, Brand distribution & share, Net Sales Revenue, and Team Engagement.
  • Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams to support complex customer relationships and Joint Business Plan agendas.
  • Proficiency in planning and leading negotiations on Joint business plans and annual cost price increases.
  • Ability to develop strategic Customer Business plans, contact strategies, and improve AG results.
