Your Purpose


As Strategic Pricing & Revenue Manager, you will look across the EMEA and APAC division and identify the perfect balance between volume, price and mix that will lead to sustainable top line revenue growth and high profitability for the business.


You will drive consistency, as well as growth across the regions and partner with senior business leaders to build a play book of excellence.


Through deep understanding of the local markets, you will confidently recognise best practice and work to implement this in all territories. The birds eye view of the regions coupled with in depth knowledge will allow you to spot opportunities to implement new initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • You will be responsible for ensuring that MCBC is capable of capturing market growth opportunities across the EMEA & APAC division by having clear pricing strategies that identify relative brand positioning and leverage pack opportunities.
  • You will be working with country pricing & revenue teams in the development & exploitation of pricing insights and in the development & exploitation of trade investment insights by implementing a standard framework & agreed key performance metrics.
  • You will be ensuring that pricing & revenue teams across the division support improvement in the size of the category revenue pool, utilising tools for planning and optimising strategic pricing & trade investment ROI through active management of the 1+1+1 revenue management levers.
  • You will support the implementation of routine pricing & revenue performance management processes in the monthly cycle across the division, including the compilation of monthly commercial performance insight reports.
  • You’ll hold the responsibility for managing the central pricing & revenue long range planning process, liaising with country pricing & revenue teams in the completion of mandatory submissions.


Skills and relevant work experience


To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in FMCG within sales, trade marketing, insight or commercial finance. If you have experience in the Off-trade, that is ideal, but we’d also love to hear from you if you have experience in the On-Trade or drinks in general.


You’ll have trusted experience in working within trade investment frameworks and conducting promo investment evaluations.


You will have excellent analytics skills, be a subject matter expert, and demonstrate strong excel modelling capability.


You have project management skills and are capable of self-sufficiency in technical projects. You have strong people skills and can persuade & influence stakeholders, including senior managers.


You know how to build models, crunch the numbers, and understand the analytical data to truly know your market.


Naturally, you easily utilise future foresight and communicate this effectively to others. You will also be resilient and ready to tackle any challenges or objections you may face.
