The Headlines

Reporting to the Senior EHS manager UK and Ireland the EH&S Manager is required to guide on the policy and direction onsite, Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance and performance improvement.


The Responsibilities

•Provide technical support to the Brewery Leadership team.

•Establish and actively engage with the Brewery Leadership team in implementing EHS management system.

•Maintain legal compliance in all EHS matters. Review current and proposed legislation.

•Ensure compliance with legal and other requirements by integrating requirements into procedures.

•Maintain Risk Assessment process across site including ergonomic, machine guarding, COSHH etc in line with EHS Management System.

•EHS Data collection and metric reporting (via online system)

•Project management EHS activities to ensure continuous improvement

•Provide support to Brewery Leadership team for incident investigations and preventative/corrective actions

•Develop inspection/audit program, Identify root causes of deficiencies.

•Conduct inspections/audits, Identify and complete preventative / corrective actions.

•Deliver EHS training. Attend EHS training, as required.

•Participate in Business Continuity arrangements including emergency response

•Maintain Fire Risk Assessment for business and execute corrective actions.

•Analyse trends. Report on performance – including program evaluation, and progress to goals/targets/objectives.

•Participate in the development of continuous improvement of EHS Culture and to encourage employees to make better personal choices.

•Provide support to Senior EH&S Manager and Group EHS as required and manage all aspects related to IPPC (integrated pollution prevention control)


The successful candidate will have the following:

•NEBOSH Diploma qualified preferable

•EH&S Experience in Food and Drink environment.

•PC Literate, strong /advanced skills within Word & Excel and advantage, plus working knowledge of PowerPoint.

•Able to influence/guide colleagues at all levels in the business.

•Able to problem solve: creative thinking.

•Strong communication skills, including the ability to organise and hold effective meetings

•Good time management and organisation skills

•Project management experience
