Your Purpose
As Engineering lead of capital, utilities and facilities you will be responsible for the management of capital project activities, including budgeting, contractor management and procurement. You will coordinate all resource required to deliver successful projects and ensure all best practice guidelines for project management are adhered too. You will be responsible for utilities on site including good operating practices, KPI management and delivery to plan, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and cost. You will also manage all contracts for site facilities, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Capital project management – Manage the site capital spend portfolio and work closely with site project leads to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Manage the site capital AOP and LRP
• Utilities management – Management of all site utilities to minimize downtime, deliver the site KPIs.
• Environment - manage energy consumption and reduce through the development of good utility operating practices and cost saving ideas. Working with the Engineering department to achieve carbon reduction aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure Capital Projects follow best practice standards so that a robust capital management program is delivered in line with Group Health, Safety, Environmental and Food Safety Procedures.
• Lead contracts management for site utilities compliance and facilities activities and liase with procurement to maximise the business benefits of contracts in place.

• Qualified in a relevant engineering/mechanical/electrical discipline
• Project management and budget control
• Technical knowledge of automated process systems and site services and utilities
• Knowledge of EH&S legislation relating to engineering
• Stakeholder engagement and people management
