Convenience Director

You’re a well-established sales leader, and potentially interested in your next opportunity. Scouring through jobs boards is probably not high on your list of things to do, let’s face it, you’re a busy person. Molson Coors might not even be on your radar as a prospective employer. Let us tell you why we think we should be.

This role is unlike any other we’ve looked to recruit for in a long time. We require an exceptionally talented individual who wants to join a business where they can take full control of the channel they’re working on. Coming into this role you’re going to get a couple things from us:

  1. A budget
  2. A blank sheet of paper

Heading up our Convenience channel, you’ll be building and delivering a strategy to build upon our market share across independent as well as chains. You’ll have a large team of people to help you deliver that strategy and get results. On top of that you’ll hold a key leadership position within our multi-functional selling team incorporating colleagues from Category Management, Customer/Shopper Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Management.

Your knowledge of the Convenience channel is going to be what makes you stand out. You know the challenges and opportunities within that and we’ll be looking for someone who’s used to winning in that arena.

A little bit about you

Essentially this is a Commercial Director position, you probably don’t need to read what sort of experience is required within that, you’ve been in the game long enough to know. Instead, this list will resonate with the sort of person who would be interested in joining our organisation:

  • A true leader, we don’t want to hear about the courses you’ve been on, you can show true leadership through turning teams around, impacting organisational change, and the ability to get results through multi-functional teams.
  • You’re a thinker and a builder, we’re not looking for an executor of plans in this position.
  • You make things happen. You’ll challenge the expected and never take things as they are until you’re confident it’s the right choice.
  • Winning is in your blood! Not only can you win in the here and now, but you can set up and deliver strategies to ensure you keep winning in the future.
  • An exceptional relationship builder with internal colleagues. Being bold and ambitious as you are, you’ll require the input and support from a number of specialists across our business. You’ll be bringing them along on your journey.
  • A big picture person, you’re aware of what’s happening within your customers as well as within the company, by utilising the vast amount of data available, you can make well-informed, big decisions that benefit all.

What can we offer?

With a sizeable base package, you’ll also receive:

  • A realistic, on target bonus of 15%, with opportunity to earn more based on individual and company performance.
  • Car or car allowance.
  • Private health cover for you and your family.
  • Pension, matched like for like up to 8%.
  • A generous, and flexible, annual leave allowance.
  • Up to a further two weeks of paid Life Leave to celebrate those moments that matter.
  • Stock allowance
