Your Purpose

 

As our Group IT Service Partner Lead, you will be responsible for the operational management of Tier 1 third‑party IT service providers across our EMEA APAC region, ensuring services are delivered in line with contractual commitments and agreed service levels.

 

Working closely with senior business stakeholders, Leadership Team members, you will build strong relationships to understand service needs, manage critical issues, and provide clear management information within the agreed governance framework.

 

You will own the EMEA IT service budget, including operational spend and cost‑saving initiatives, working closely with the IT Service Operations Director and Divisional Reporting Manager. These services support critical brewery and corporate operations, with full accountability for service stability and performance across outsourced providers.

 

The role requires close collaboration with our North American counterparts to align on global strategy, costs, and impacts to the EMEA baseline and AOP. You will also assess future run costs associated with project activity and ensure value for money through continuous service improvement and industry best practice. Ownership of the EMEA End User Computing (EUC) strategy sits within this role.

 

You will lead the transition of projects into live service, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure smooth handover into operations. In addition, you will support the EMEA APAC cost optimisation programme, delivering reductions against agreed annual IT cost targets.

 

This is a UK mobile-based role, with regular (1-2 per month) days in our HQ in Burton-on-Trent, and occasional overseas travel.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manages day-to-day relationships with Tier 1 Partners (not limited to) to ensure the effective delivery of IT services, ensuring consistent adherence to and proper execution of agreed policies and procedures by all parties while identifying and developing process and solution improvement opportunities.
  • Manages and coordinates local and offshore external resources involved in the delivery of IT services, ensuring service provider adherence to agreed service level agreements for infrastructure and application services as appropriate.
  • Drive the landscape of the EMEA End user estate – looking at best solutions / pricing across the EUC space
  • Manages the day-to-day relationships with IT users, including communication of service issues, outages and other activities, actively driving partner innovation, automation and service improvements, reviewing delivery performance against SLA's, following up on trends and proposing action plans.
  • Act as the EMEA Escalation point for both IT Partners and where applicable, through to the Global Service Operations management hierarchy as necessary, regarding service issues, risks and potential opportunities.  
  • Manages the IT Partner onsite support team based in Burton. Ensuring refresh targets are hit (and be escalation point for onsite support desks in CE)
  • Support out-of-hour P1 incidents where required.
  • Work closely with the Group Senior Applications Manager regarding the support from the Tier 1 Partner. Role isn’t required to be technical but to have the ability to ensure the correct support is in place whether its in the Run and Project TTO perspective.

 

About You          

 

You’ll be able to show the following skills and experience during the assessment process:

 

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, IT Partner & Vendor Management, IT Service Management experience, including management of large-scale IT operations environments (End User through to Cloud & Applications)
  • Communication skills with demonstrated experience of persuasively and effectively influencing others at all levels in the organization.
  • Very strong negotiation and vendor management skills up to Executive Leadership Teams.
  • Analytical thought needed to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations skilled at drawing on different data sets to drive decision making.
  • IT Partner & Vendor Management for EMEA – contract management, leading Request For Pricing, defining & executing partner strategy.
  • Ability to use financial acumen to understand IT financial data set to identify cost efficiencies, drive value and execute cost savings.
  • Extensive IT experience, and experience undertaking IT service management activities.
  • Experience in working with & managing Global Tier 1 IT Partners.
  • Experience in working on outsourcing models managing Tier 1 IT Partners.
  • Proven experience in IT Service Operations / Delivery in a 24x7 global environment; including experience working with 3rd Party Service Providers in both cloud based and end-user environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple cross functional internal and external stakeholders through building effective relationships
  • Proven in taking accountability for IT Risks that reside with Tier 1 Partners. Where applicable, talking ownership for driving & executing mitigation plans.
