Your purpose

Join our dynamic team based Mobile, UK as a Customer Business Manager on a Fixed Term Contract basis!

 

Lead the charge in shaping MCBC's interaction with our valued customer Tesco, ensuring they remain our top priority every step of the way.

As a Customer Business Manager (CBM), you'll cultivate enduring business relationships and spearhead profitable sales growth for MCBC, aligning seamlessly with customer preferences, channel dynamics, and MCBC's brand ethos.

Your role spans from initial implementation to activation, with significant impact and autonomy in decision-making over the first 12 months.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage, evaluate, and refine our business plan to achieve volume, profit, and market share targets.
  • Take full ownership of meeting commercial objectives for assigned customer(s).
  • Identify and capitalize on new commercial opportunities within the customer base and channels, implementing comprehensive contact strategies.
  • Drive alignment with channel and brand objectives in accordance with our overarching strategy.
  • Ensure MCBC's presence is felt through flawless execution across the extended team (MFST), contributing to EBIT, volume, brand distribution, share, net sales revenue, and team engagement metrics.

 

About you:

  • Proven experience in account management within a Top 4 Grocery multiple.
  • Consistent success in delivering against Annual Operating Plans and Long-Range Plans, with a focus on account performance.
  • Proficiency in managing internal cycles, forecasting volume and commercial outcomes, and serving as the internal voice of the customer.
  • Advanced Excel skills, particularly in scenario modelling Joint Business Plan options with key metrics, given the complexity of our relationship with Tesco/One Stop, our largest Off-Trade customer.
