We now have two truly brilliant opportunities for Marketing Controllers; one for the globally recognised beer that is Coors; and one for our premium Cyder brands, Aspall and Rekorderlig.


The Marketing Controller for Coors is based out of our Burton HO and Aspall / Rekorderlig is London based; our hybrid model is two days in the office, and three days remote working so this applies to both roles. We’re also happy to discuss flexible working options.


Your Purpose


Both positions are high profile leadership roles in the Western European Marketing Team where you’ll be accountable for leading the development and market leading delivery of the brand’s Long-Range Plans, shaping and executing strategy for growth.


You’ll be accountable for the full marketing mix; consumer marketing activities, innovation, brand-in-channel strategies and delivering strong through the line marketing plans tailored by formats and channels to enable ‘toolkit’ execution with our customers.


Key Responsibilities


  • You’ll develop comprehensive insight to set out the strategic growth path for the brand and develop insight led innovation.
  • You’ll have full accountability for the budget across all levels of the P&L and work collaboratively across the business on this.
  • You’ll lead the Integrated Marketing Communication process and 3rd party creative agency partners to create consumer connected activity driving brand growth.
  • You’ll work across the EMEA APAC business to develop cross market plans and strategy.
  • You’ll lead and develop a brilliant team of marketing and brand professionals with a People First mindset.


About You


You will be used to working with internationally recognised brands, having done so successfully in a previous role. You’ll have the technical marketing skill set, commercial mindset and experience to drive brand growth in a competitive market.


You may have worked within innovation within a large drinks business, or contributed to significant growth of a new brand, either way, you will understand how to support branding concepts using your experience of the full marketing mix and be able to understand the wider commercial impact of actions taken. We are particularly interested in hearing about your TV activation experience.


You lead with the brand vision but understand how to take cross-functional teams with you on the journey, adapting your style to manage relationships with internal and external partners.


As a marketing leader, you manage your budget well and collaborate effectively with the wider business.


It’s also essential that you have beverages or consumer goods marketing experience; challenger brand exposure preferred.
