Your Purpose

 

Working under the direct supervision of a qualified solicitor, the Paralegal/ legal administrator’s role is to provide general support to the UK and Ireland segment of the Molson Coors Western Europe Legal Team on a range of legal and semi-administrative matters. This interesting and fast paced role involves the preparation and review of commercial agreements (like confidentiality agreements, simple variation agreements, marketing promotional terms and conditions etc.), administrative support to the Marketing Compliance Committee ("MCC"), compliance support, company secretarial duties and researching legal issues.

 

About You

Do you have a can-do attitude, strong organisational skills, an ability to work to deadlines, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and sound judgment? And are you able to quickly understand and learn new things? Then this might be the job for you!!!!

Previous experience in a legal environment or working with contracts could be an advantage but these are not mandatory requirements.  Don’t let limited experience or lack of legal qualifications put you off applying for this role, we are interested in hearing from you.

 

It is also important to mention that this is a hybrid role meaning you will be based in our Burton office 2 days a week and at home 3 days a week. 

 

About the role

You will:

  • Support our internal Marketing Compliance Committee with all tasks relating to the logging, collation and circulation of brand marketing assets for legal review. Share feedback and approvals with internal stakeholders, arrange meetings and take minutes.
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of marketing compliance education programmes and drive continuous process improvements to ensure the effectiveness of the marketing compliance process.
  • Assist with company secretarial duties such as preparation of Board papers and other corporate documents.  Update and submit Companies House records and forms as required. Maintain effective company secretarial filing systems. Drive continuous process improvements.
  • Provide compliance support to various members of the Legal Team and help to embed a culture of compliance.
  • Prepare simple routine legal documents which support sales, marketing, supply chain and procurement, such as simple variations agreements, non-disclosure agreements and completing contract templates.
  • Provide routine general support to the legal team.
