Your Purpose

 

We’re currently recruiting for a Category Leader – EMEA & APAC IT. You’ll be accountable for the full lifecycle of IT and General & Administration category strategies and execution across both regions. You’ll partner directly with senior business and procurement leadership to develop world class category strategies, delivering value across cost, quality, delivery, supply assurance and ESG commitments.

You will lead major divisional negotiations, manage strategic supplier relationships, build effective governance models, and influence procurement and IT strategies at senior levels, including presenting into Divisional Leadership Teams.

You will also work in-sync with counterparts in North America, regional procurement teams and the wider business leadership teams to deliver strategies that reflect regional needs while driving global procurement alignment across IT.

This hybrid role is aligned to our Burton-based divisional IT structure.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee the development and execution of IT and G&A category strategies for major areas of spend across EMEA APAC, ensuring plans meet our Long Range Plan and procurement commitments across cost, quality, delivery, supply assurance, ESG and innovation targets.
  • Lead and manage supplier relationship frameworks with major suppliers, leading for supply assurance, in-contract management plans, risk management, Master Services Agreements, sustainability and supplier innovation.
  • Challenge spend areas strategically, building robust plans in partnership with regional procurement teams and leaders, global counterparts, business leaders and the IT leadership team.
  • Partner with and influence senior divisional stakeholders to drive the procurement agenda, creating clear cross‑functional execution plans that enable delivery of IT and G&A category strategies and key negotiation outcomes.
  • Lead major divisional supplier and partner negotiations as a senior leader within the procurement function, helping to shape and advance our overall functional strategy.

 

 

 

About You

 

  • Proven experience leading IT procurement strategies and category management, and delivering value across cost, quality, delivery, supply assurance and ESG commitments.
  • Deep IT category, supplier, and market knowledge.
  • Significant experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, supplier quality standards and contract negotiation skills across multiple procurement categories.  
  • Strong track record of delivering year on year total procurement financial targets (TPFV).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain procurement and category relationships across divisions, regions or global environments.
  • Proven leadership capability of multi-functions teams, including internal and external stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience building strong stakeholder relationships, influencing and leading change on multi-million € projects.
