About the Role

 

At Molson Coors, we’re passionate about building iconic brands and delivering exceptional experiences for our customers. We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Account Lead to take ownership of key customer partnerships and lead a high-performing multi-functional selling team across the UK.

 

This is a pivotal, customer-facing role where you will coordinate and lead all aspects of the Multi-Functional Selling Team (MFST), shaping and driving the short- to mid-term agenda (0–18 months). Acting as the primary point of contact with Senior Buying Managers, you will influence the customer strategy, build strong day-to-day relationships, and align cross-functional teams to deliver against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

 

As an Account Lead, you will play a critical role in translating business and brand strategy into impactful customer plans—ensuring executional excellence while building the foundations for long-term growth.

 

This role is mobile and can be based from anywhere in the UK, with requirement to travel as needed. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Total accountability for achieving commercial targets with the customer/s ensuring people and work processes are aligned and integrated across channel with the MFST.
  • Responsible for unlocking incremental commercial opportunities within the customer / channel including the overall contact strategy to execute all activities with the customer. Responsible for improving Customer Advantage Group Survey (AGS) scores by agreed level in line with company goals.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the Multi-Functional Selling team for their customer portfolio and delivering all company KPI's for volume, NSR, AC, AC/HL, forecast bias, people development, and customer survey result scores (AGS).
  • Responsible for the line management and coaching of direct reports to facilitate their in-role, personal and career development within Molson Coors.
  • Working with the Customer Director for relevant customer/customer group to support developing and executing the strategic agenda with the full customer/customer group, with the key responsibility for the in month, quarter and year delivery of the strategy.

 

About You:

 

You'll be able to show the following skills and experience through the assessment process: 

 

  • Proven record of building great relationships, influencing and negotiating with both internal & external customers at a senior level.
  • Track record of delivering both an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and a Long-Range Plan (LRP) with complex customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation both internally and externally.
  • Commercially strong with a clear track record of being able to take accountability and delivery complex negotiations.
  • Shows strong followship with colleagues and is able to take people with them especially at critical times and negotiations. 
  • Significant commercial experience in an FMCG environment with much of this experience working with grocers.
