Your Purpose
We’re recruiting a Quality & Compliance Manager to join our brilliant team at Burton Brewery on a 12- month Fixed Term Contract. You'll ensure our brewery meets international standards and legal requirements for food and feed safety, including BRC GS, Kosher, FEMAS, and more. Your role will focus on identifying where improvements can be made, while maintaining product authenticity and safeguarding against contamination. You will manage the Consumer Helpdesk, oversee the Systems Compliance team, and ensure all site documents are accurate and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of Quality & Food/Feed Safety programmes within the Brewery, ensuring the site maintains Global Q&FS standards and updating the QEHS system to meet ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Create and lead the site audit schedule, conduct internal audits, and monitor progress against corrective actions. Facilitate external audits and liaise with governing bodies to obtain necessary certifications.
- Collaborate with Innovation Teams during the trial and change management process, ensuring teams are adequately trained and Food Safety and Quality Risk assessments are carried out.
- Lead the HACCP Team during HACCP plan reviews and the implementation of plans for new processes, production lines and equipment.
- Manage the Consumer Helpdesk and Systems Compliance Coordinators team, ensuring the site document management system is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
About You
- Proven experience in managing a team, fostering collaboration, and driving performance.
- Demonstrated expertise in BRC food safety and global standards.
- Proven track record of maintaining quality in the food and beverage industry.
- Minimum HACCP level 3 certification.
- Previous experience conducting GMP audits, ensuring compliance and quality in production processes.
