Your Purpose

We currently have vacancies available in our laboratory on both permanent and fixed term contracts. You will deliver and continuously improve on safety, cost, quality, and service targets.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Carry out Laboratory Analysis in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 
  • Take responsibility for auditing and monitoring standards.
  • Work within all local hygiene, health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice. Continuously review practices, process, and operations to identify opportunities to improve standards.
  • Improve process and/or operational capability by leading problem-solving tools and techniques, carrying out root cause analysis to determine cause of problems with the overall objective of improving department and site KPIs.
  • Review and continuously improve performance management standards and systems while actively engaging with communication processes to share outputs with colleagues, peers, and management groups.

 

 

About You

  • Experience working in an appropriate lab environment in a food/drink manufacturing environment.
  • Effectively communicate with teams on other shifts through logbooks and daily handover meetings.
  • Able to facilitate meetings and team-based project groups.
  • Able to plan, co-ordinate and improve work done by the team.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
