Your Purpose
Responsibility for the planning and scheduling of a bought-in/co-pack portfolio of goods and materials. Maximise levels of customer service performance whilst controlling levels of Inventory and write off in line with goals. Build effective relationships with vendors to identify opportunities to improve service & cost. Effectively use of tools to drive efficiency and performance. Support in the management of co-manufacture customers ensuring a high level of service is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- To plan all contact pack, bought-in and re-pack operations based on defined planning rules and governance which ensures optimized production / delivery plans and stock levels to achieve customer demand, considering financial impacts. Managing vendor orders & invoicing. Raising Orders based on requirements, and management of invoices.
- Ensuring Vendor performance OTIF is above target, ensuring vendor compliance with Logistics and warehouse processes
- Optimize our stock holding on contract pack to achieve COGS and working capital & cashflow targets whilst improving customer service levels. Take full accountability for inventory management of Bought In goods. Regularly review & validation the stock policy.
- Generation of purchase orders for vendors in SAP or Ariba and booking of loads in 3rd party haulier portals. Managing credits and recharges with vendors, including return credits. Ensuring compliance with purchase to pay process.
- Identify improvement in process and systems and implement these in alignment with the contract production manager. Ensure all relevant master data is correct to support effective system replenishment.
About You
Required skills:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain; logistics, production process and system knowledge.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- An ability to effectively interact and impact in a cross-functional environment with all levels of management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven track record of holding others to account for performance.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- SAP system knowledge & experience.
Required experience:
- Extensive FMCG experience, including Planning & Scheduling or Bought-In experience.
