We’re looking to recruit 1x Permanent Warehouse Operative and 2x Warehouse Operative FTC ( fix term contract ) based in Burton On Trent.

 

Your Purpose

 

Within this role you will work part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, providing support to two production packaging lines, as well as following picking lists and loading orders.

 

You will be loading and removing stock from trailers, supporting the daily loading, dispatch and distribution of all products in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the relevant Health and safety frameworks and legislation.

 

  • Providing a safe and prompt service to two keg production lines, ensuring the correct placement of the stock into a warehouse environment.
  • Following pick lists and loading plans to move stock correctly and safely.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure the effective resolution of any loading/dispatch queries.
  • The safe operation, pre use checks, battery changing, and general care of a forklift truck.
  • First Point of call for Team Members, and other business units within MCBC.
  • Responsible for allocating overtime and updating team holidays.

 

About You

 

  • Forklift licence is prefeed but not essential
  • You must be able communicate with teams on other shifts and able to work as part of a team.
  • Able to facilitate meetings and team-based project groups.
  • You must be proactive to problem solving
  • Must have effective written and verbal communications skills.
