Your Purpose

You will be accountable for all secondary network stocks, own brand and factored rands, working to balance the strategic business objectives; availability, cost and cash. You’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team off 12(4 direct reports, 8 indirect), hence proven leadership skills are necessary in this role.  You will also work collaboratively with the trading team and suppliers, accountable for the effective procurement of all Factored Goods to maximize levels of customer service performance, whilst controlling optimal levels of Factored Inventory. As well as owning the Stock Logistics relationship with our 3rd party provider Tradeteam.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational management of the stock logistics team. Ensuring the secondary network is replenished efficiently, within parameters of stock holding restrictions and working capital targets
  • Deliver key financial opportunities, inclusive of, working capital reduction, supplier tactical buy ins and optimising order patterns
  • Manage inbound & outbound replenishment to deliver the optimal storage blueprint and most cost effective replenishment routes to customers.
  • Ownership of the Factored demand processes (including promotional planning), ensuring accurate forecasting including key customers and events.
  • Work collaboratively with Trading Managers to ensure live SKU's are delivering agreed hurdle rates. 

 

About You and required skills:

 

  • Strong Supply Chain experience with strong background and expertise in logistics and operations.
  • Strong track record in leading and developing a large team, including rapid introduction and upskilling of individuals.
  • Experience of stakeholder management and delivery of change initiatives
