We are looking for a Solution Manager to join our IT team based in Burton on a hybrid basis

Your Purpose

In 2022 we launched an aspiring 10-year strategy for our EMEA APAC division, which will see us grow our business across five key areas. In order to achieve this strategy, we’re undertaking a transformation programme to ensure that our people are equipped with the right systems and processes to be successful. This is the largest and most complex multi-year, multi-function Program that Molson Coors has ever undertaken in EMEA APAC.

Your role will be leading for the design, definition, development & integration of Manufacturing Applications. 

To oversee & lead application project teams within Western Europe.  Uses extensive technology functional knowledge, combined with strong knowledge of best practices & business processes to drive to the best solution from a people, process & technology perspective.

Directly and/or indirectly responsible for managing deliverables of internal & external resources & may have some people coaching & development responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to identify detailed requirements, assess available solutions, recommend options & implement solutions. Developing process and functional specifications for deploying new functions or changes in the applications & systems landscape
  • A solution lead for the global/regional/local deployment of applications, actively engaged in service and solution detailed design, participates in and/or oversees build and test of services and solutions as appropriate, may provide occasional guidance to application operations as the overall product owner for an application module or modules
  • Working with 3rd party partners and is a key design authority for global/regional/local application development items in their area of expertise and ultimately accountable for the development of Molson Coors enterprise application environments.
  • Provides knowledge and understanding of the existing application landscape. Key design build and/or run authority for development items within area of expertise.  Plans and manages the evaluation of software development processes. Contributes to choices about tools, methods & approaches. Assists in the onboarding of internal and external development resources and other team members as part of project ramp ups.
  • Actively develops and enhances application knowledge through training, networking & participation in application User Groups.

About You

  • 5+ years experience with MES and Scada systems
  • 8+ years IT experience implementing application solutions, with experience managing & implementing application systems in a complex multi national environment.
  • Demonstrable understanding of standard package based application solutions with ability to apply best practices to create scalable, resilient & agile application solutions.
  • Demonstrates understanding of strategic issues, the systems development lifecycle, and typical problems associated with implementation of information systems.
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem solving & conceptual skills, including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative & able to operate at a strategic level, yet is still hands-on enough to design & develop solutions & guide team members
