Your Purpose

This wide-ranging role has direct responsibility for reporting, forecasting and budgeting for the Western European business. As well as P&L and balance sheet understanding, this role includes specific responsibility for the creation of the cash flow forecast, including working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to drive accuracy and understanding.

In general, the role is expected to provide clear, timely and accurate financial analysis covering the whole business unit, giving insight regarding the results and forecasts to the Western Europe Regional Leadership Team (RLT) and the leadership of the EMEA & APAC Division, to support operational and strategic decision-making. In addition, the position contains ownership of the month end close process, including responsibility for a wide range of financial controls.


The role would suit someone who is keen to develop a well-rounded understanding of the whole business, who is able to think and communicate clearly and who possesses a strong understanding of governance & controls as well as commercial flair.


 Key Responsibilities:


  • Reporting & Forecasting

Ownership of all aspects of performance reporting and forecasting for Western Europe, including P&L, Cash, Balance Sheet and Capital. Responsible for developing a stable set of management accounts for the RLT and delivering management information packs to EMEA APAC Division. Build relationships with other Molson Coors stakeholders such as sales teams, procurement and shared services to understand the wider business.


  • Long Range Planning and Annual Operating Plan

Responsible for delivery and central coordination of the long range and annual operating plans. Drives for continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and methodology and seeks opportunities to drive sustainable cash flow improvements. 


  • Cash

Lead the cash flow forecasting and budgeting process, developing it to both refine the process and improve accuracy of forecasting. Lead delivery against our cash targets through partnership with the key stakeholders across Finance and the wider business. .


  • G&A

Ownership of reporting and understanding around G&A costs within the business unit, continuously driving for improved understanding of our G&A spend and forecast accuracy, working closely with Finance partners and business stakeholders to instill a cost-conscious mindset.


  • Driving continuous improvement

Identify and lead initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and forecasting and drive business performance. Be an active contributor in broader Finance change and development initiatives both at a Western Europe and EMEA APAC level.


About you:

•           Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of a business, including senior stakeholders

•           Previous FP&A experience in a large company/group

•           Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrated ability to use information, experience and judgement to drive results

•           Highly analytical with an eye for detail

•           Previous experience in either delivering finance transformation or driving continuous improvements and efficiencies through the adoption of new tools and/or ways of working        

•           Line management experience
