We’re looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Technician Engineer.

 

 

Shift pattern

 

Days until October, with the intention of moving to 4 on 4 off after training is complete 

 

We have a brand new can line based in our Burton brewery known as “Can line 5” with our MCBC portfolio growing bigger than ever we need a skilled engineer to come in and work their magic!

 

We’re still in commissioning phase so the hours primarily days until October time, after October there will be a mix of days/nights on a shift pattern so you must be flexible.

 

You will still be entitled to shift pay whilst on the commissioning phase.

 

We are on the search for a talented induvial to join us and work in one in our biggest brewery based in Burton on Trent. We are expanding and due to a new brand here at MCBC, we need you.

 

You will work within a team to provide engineering, operational and continuous improvement skills to deliver the production plan for the department and deliver and continuously improve on safety, cost, quality and service targets. This role will require you to be able to run the machine operationally as well as fixing it so having the technical / engineering experience is required to be considered.

 

 In this role you will be responsible for maintenance and optimisation within the brewery. You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment working on Asset Cares & planned maintenance to achieve maximum plant availability & efficiency.

 

You will demonstrate flexibility and implementation of skills, developing and utilising World Class Supply Chain processes to contribute to delivering World Class standards of operations within the work-team and Burton Brewery. Develop others, build capability and continuously improve through the sharing of knowledge and skills, as well as being willing recipient of new skills to grow overall team competence and flexibility. 

About You

  • Time served engineer completing a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
  • Experience within technical engineering.
  • Effectively communicate with teams on other shifts through log books and daily handover meetings.
  • Able to diligently adhere to WCSC Business Centred Maintenance practices within the work area to increase production reliability and decrease unexpected breakdowns.
  • Able to facilitate meetings and team-based project groups.
  • Able to plan, co-ordinate and improve work done by the team, as a member of that team.
  • Within agreed timescale achieve WCSC validation
