The Headlines


In the role of a Sr.  Furnace Specialist working at the Rocky Mountain Bottling Company in Wheat Ridge Colorado you will be part of the Furnace Department. You will be responsible for playing an important role in operating and maintaining all assigned sand unloading, batch, basement cullet and furnace equipment.


This position reports to our process leader and works closely with our production teams.


The Responsibilities:

  • Perform the leadership role to execute and perform operating and adjustment maintenance on all assigned Batch and Furnace equipment
  • Ensure efficiency and product quality throughout the Cullet Processing Plant, basement cullet hauling, as well as all furnace equipment.
  • Primary duties will be assigned to Cullet Processing Plant. Operate Mobile equipment once properly trained and certified.
  • Operate, adjust and maintain all assigned raw material unloading, batch, basement cullet and furnace equipment to assure product quality and efficiency. To control the overall process to insure a proper safe operation with a high degree of accuracy. To identify and solve operational and quality problems.
  • Boots on the ground working hand and hand on the floor with the Process and Team. Senior Specialist must have willingness to Learn and Teach. They must Accept responsibility and engage the Team.


The Other Qualifications –

  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering
  • You have a high school diploma or a GED
  • You are at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a focus for safety and must be willing to wear a  respirator
  • Follow all Batch and Furnace Safe procedures and policies once trained .
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Trained Furnace Operator or equivalent
  • Advanced in Inventory control of expendable, emergency refractories as well as required resources and tools.
  • Proficient in the knowledge of transportation methodology, Rail and trucking synergies.
