The Headlines:
In the role of Manager, Transportation – 3PL working in Milwaukee, WI, you will lead the “make or buy” strategy for 3PL outsourcing of functions, define business cases, and own migration process.  You will perform duties as a primary lead for specific growth project management assignments that are designed to streamline our freight movement and optimize our network.   
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, 3PL Integration & Multi-Modal Freight, and collaborates closely with Sales and Supply Chain on matters of market delivery and S&OP.


The Responsibilities: 
•    Responsible for the set-up, deployment, execution and transition strategies for the use of 3PL providers that support cross-dock, warehousing, consolidation, and ad hoc requirements to meet our North American logistical and distribution footprint.
•    Partners with providers to maximize customer service, and is responsible for total distribution with an emphasis on cost reduction targets.
•    Ensure that the company remains competitive in the marketplace and continually delivers efficiency in transportation and logistics striving to reduce cost per barrel while delivering outstanding service.
•    Leads top to top supplier relationship with all major truck, rail, and third party warehousing and logistics partners for the purpose of developing integrated long term logistics strategy to include transportation, warehousing, and suppliers (kegs and pallets).


The Other Qualifications: 
•    12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the CPG industry
•    You will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline 
•    Track record of identifying, creating and implementing innovative business partnerships 
•    Experience in identifying, creating, and implementing innovative partnerships.
•    You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.  You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy  
•    You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business 
•    You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
