International Tax Manager

The Headlines 

In the role of Tax Manager working in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be part of the Global tax team. You will provide support in all aspects of the corporate tax department, including international, federal, and state tax (strong emphasis on international tax,) as well as global tax provision responsibilities.


The position reports to our Global Tax Director and works with members of our foreign business units and global finance organization.


The Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the scheduling, preparation, and review of US foreign informational returns (forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8992, and 8990, etc.)
  • Calculate earnings and profits adjustments, global low tax income inclusion, 163(j) interest limitation, foreign tax credits, and foreign derived intangible income benefit
  • Maintain ownership structure in CorpTax for newly formed/acquired entities and reorganization, upload entity financials into CorpTax, and reconcile financials to consolidated financials. 
  • Assist with research and documentation of international issues and positions as needed.  Assist with preparation and review of federal and state returns as needed.
  • Work with global tax team to understand all international transactions, formations, reorganizations, etc. to ensure all statements and elections are filed timely with the return
  • Manage the master entity data for international entities, international filing requirements, and related task in our global tax return workflow portal (GTOP,) and work with federal managers to ensure completeness of data
  • Work with foreign business units, global finance organization and global tax teams to prepare quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations
  • Support other components of the quarterly and yearend provision including calculating subpart F income and other deemed inclusions, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, 163(j) limit, foreign tax credits, and foreign exchange gains and losses
  • Assist with preparing Forms SS-4 and/or 8832, create entity files, update the company’s organizational chart for newly formed/acquired entities and reorganizations, and work with the accounting Consolidations Team to update the tax return hierarchy for newly formed/acquired entities and reorganization


The Other Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant degree; Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of international tax experience ; additional international tax experience, federal, and/or state tax experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP and proficiency in CorpTax a huge plus
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of priorities.   
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships
