The Headlines

 

In the role of Ethics and Compliance Specialist working in Milwaukee you will be part of the North America Ethics and Compliance team.  The Ethics and Compliance Specialist provides support to the Regional Ethics and Compliance Director in executing both global and local program initiatives aimed at mitigating compliance risk and managing inquiries and issues in the region. This includes activities such as the administration of compliance monitoring tools; preparing management presentations and reports; preparing and/or conducting live training; support for internal investigation into allegations of misconduct; and responding to simple inquiries related to compliance with Gift& Entertainment and other company policies from employees in the US and Canadian business units

 

The Responsibilities:
 

  • Support effective implementation and administration of compliance monitoring tools and processes such as the Ethics & Compliance Helpline, conflicts of interest disclosure and resolution, gifts and entertainment register, and third party due diligence. Conduct review and triage of submissions via monitoring tools, address simple inquiries/issues and employ efficient and appropriate escalation of matters to the Regional Ethics & Compliance Director.
  • Help prepare and deliver ethics and compliance related training to help ensure that employees understand and comply with fundamental ethical and company standards, and pertinent laws and regulations. Direct and collaborate with assigned distributors on development of the Annual distributor business plan
  • Prepare management presentations, pre-reads, and reports and timely disseminate to appropriate stakeholders. Utilize analytics features of monitoring tools and other resources to produce accurate, clear, and concise reports and other data to include/share in presentations, pre-reads, meetings, and for reporting purposes.   
  • Provide support for internal investigations into allegations of compliance violations or other misconduct by employees and occasionally conduct investigations of non-complex allegations of compliance violations or other misconduct by employees.
  • Serve as a channel of communication regarding ethics and compliance resources for employees including how to report ethics and compliance concerns.

 

The Qualifications:  
 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (comfort with public speaking is required)
  • Internal Audit, HR, Legal, or Ethics and Compliance experience preferred
  • Relevant certification (e.g. CCEP) preferred
