The Headlines:

In the role of Financial Analyst working in Chicago you will be part of the National Accounts Finance team. The person will provide finance support; coordinate the development of budgets and margin drivers including revenue, price promotions, consumer incentives, and cost of goods. Analyze and review forecasted and actual cost reporting for assigned function.


This position reports to the Director of Finance and works closely with our chain organization and various finance teams.


The Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and applies them (as required for the position held) to provide objective, timely, and accurate financial information to meet / exceed regulatory and legislative requirements and to help drive business results.
  • Demonstrates insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business unit partners and to help drive business results
  • Understands and facilitates the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business counsel to support business decision making across the enterprise.
  • Seeks information from customers/business partners to identify and improve non-value-added practices.


The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a relative 4-year degree and at least 2 years of financial analyst experience
  • You have solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • You have strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (SAP, Nielsen, Margin Minder preferred)
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. 
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business
