 The Headlines: 

In the role of Finance Manager, Craft Partnerships, working in our Chicago, Illinois office, you will be part of the Tenth & Blake team, specifically directing and managing the resources and process for our Craft business’ accounting, forecasting and financial reporting activities. 

 

This position reports to the Finance Director, Craft Partnerships and works closely with our Craft Breweries and Tenth & Blake Sales and Marketing teams to ensure sound financial accounting processes and to support the month-end processes specific to the Tenth & Blake organization. You will help drive efficiencies and growth opportunities with the Craft Brewery Finance teams. You will also work closely with our Global Consolidation, Global Technical Accounting, Global Financial Planning and Forecasting and other cross-functional teams supporting business process changes focusing on general ledger and financial reporting impacts to our Craft Breweries.

 

 The Responsibilities:

  • Directs and manages the month end financial close process and consolidation for the Craft business and provides financial accounting guidance
  • Directs and ensures financial integrity of financial information incorporated in the global consolidation process
  • Directs and manages special projects, enhancements, business process changes, and accounting changes as it relates to all general ledger activity
  • Develops and grows direct reports by providing talent management leadership and strong capability development

 

 The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or other relative 4-year degree; CPA preferred
  • 6 or more years of progressive Finance leadership experience; prior experience in corporate accounting/financial reporting preferred
  • Experience in Excel or spreadsheet execution (proficient with Microsoft products; SAP and BPC preferred
  • You have strong leadership skills and the capability to provide talent management leadership to help your team achieve success
  • You can translate theory into strategy and strategy into actionable plans by serving as a visible change agent and transformational leader
  • You demonstrate effective influence & collaboration without formal authority
  • You are detail oriented with critical focus on producing quality results and can translate financial principles into simple processes and business solutions
  • You demonstrate objectivity, resilience, and flexibility to manage strategic & complex financial issues; you can assess situations and provide an objective, non-biased point of view
  • You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
