The Headlines:   

In the role of Senior UX Designer working in our Milwaukee-Corporate Office you will be part of the Global IT team. You are equal parts designer, researcher, and mentor. You will work alongside several different teams to understand complex user and business requirements, translating them into conceptual designs. Your responsibilities will include designing prototypes and mockups, leading collaborative design sessions, handling requests for help from multiple teams, implementing internal UX training initiatives, and using data and customer insights to define and enhance customer experiences.

 

This position reports to Senior Manager - User Experience and works closely with multiple teams across our Global IT team.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Develop user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas for end-to-end experiences. Distill ambiguous requirements into tangible requirements and deliverables
  • Test validity and usability of current features and conceptual designs through usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and field research
  • Help develop, evolve, and maintain the MCBC Design System of components, patterns and styles
  • Facilitate creative thinking through workshops, design sprints and collaborative brainstorming sessions

 

The Other Qualifications: 

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Visual Design OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of UX Design
  • You have at least 5 years experience in collaboratively creating and validating UX design concepts
  • Empathetic about user and consumer experiences, ready to come in and make an immediate impact
  • Experience collaborating with designers, engineers, business stakeholders and product managers throughout the design process
  • Expert with modern design tools (such as Figma, Creative Suite or similar)
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments  
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
