The Headlines:   

In the role of Senior Data & Recovery Mgt Specialist working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the global IT Service Operations team. You will in a role in the Environment & Infrastructure management team ensuring 3rd party IT application environment management services for a given application platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, SAP) delivered to Molson Coors business are operating both efficiently & effectively.


This position reports to Director of IT Global Infrastructure and Environment and works closely with 3rd party IT Service Providers.  


The Responsibilities: 

  • Most importantly, you will be responsible for managing relationships with third parties and internal staff to ensure the effective technical management of business-critical application platforms, ensuring consistent adherence to and proper execution of agreed policies and procedures by all parties while identifying and developing process and solution improvement opportunities.
  • You will oversee 3rd party service delivery - Accountable to ensure activities associated with the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of service provider technical application operations performance versus SLA’s and agreed requirements are in place and effective.
  • You will ensure optimal operation of the IT application environment - Accountable for all Database technologies (e.g.  SQL, Oracle, Teradata) services both on premise and in the cloud (IaaS - Infrastructure as a service or PaaS - Platform as a service).
  • You will ensure optimal operation of the IT Business Continuity / Disaster recovery environment - Works closely with service providers on day-to-day activities in both Cloud and On-Premises to ensure successful testing and execution of our Business Continuity plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.


The Qualifications:

    • You have a minimum of 4 years in IT database and application platform experience in one or more environments (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft) with 3+ years of experience working with outsourced operations teams in a large-scale mission critical environment.
    • Any degree or certification in IT or Cloud certification is preferred.
