The Headlines:  

 In the role of SAP Functional Analyst: Transportation Management within the functional capacity of TM / EM (Transportation Management/Event Management) working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North America IT team focusing on delivering projects which will enhance business results.  The person will build and/or run SAP TM application solutions for an area of the business, keeping up on market trends and best practices to help identify opportunities of improvement. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, who can work as a great partner to the business.   


The Responsibilities:

  • Business requirements gathering leading to functional enhancement of the processes and process improvements in business solutions as identified for various projects
  • Demonstrating expertise in the technologies covered by SAP TM/EM, including configuration, and authoring of RICEFs, FUT, and participation in creation and execution of integration tests
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the business processes and software configuration related to SAP TM/EM
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the logistics community within MCBC, defining business problems and translate them into solutions including analysis of alternative scenarios
  • Author system specification documentation such as Configurational Rationales, Business process procedures and Functional Specifications
  • Perform system configuration, functional testing, and integration testing
  • Lead an active role in the design, testing, and implementation phases of a project. Must be able to work in a team environment with regular interaction with project stakeholders
  • Excellent problem identification, root cause, and corrective action to drive resolution
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to influence change as well as manage rapidly changing technological and business environments
  • Demonstrated passion for being the liaison between the business units, technology, and project management teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work within decentralized teams consisting of multiple strategic integration (SI) parties


The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree
  • You have at least 6 years of experience designing and developing systems and solutions
  • You have at least 6 years of experience of SAP TM (SAP Transportation Management) module
  • Possessing knowledge of SAP EM (Event Management) is a plus
  • Previous application and/or module-specific skills and experience
  • Possesses knowledge of integrated solutions (e.g., SAP SD (OTC) ->TM->WM)
  • Has some knowledge of: several IT areas, including development and maintenance; change management; configuration management; reliability and safety methods; software process models and quality assurance
  • Possesses knowledge of Ortec LEO is an advantage, but not required
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of strategic issues, the systems development life-cycle, and typical problems associated with implementation of information systems
