The Headlines:   

In the role of Manager Data Quality working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Finance team.  You will govern our sales-to-retail collection process, serve as the business owner of the overall Molson Coors retail outlet master data, and manage the relationship with our data partners. This role will be responsible for ensuring we are maximizing the value of our key partnerships with outlet data suppliers through continuous evaluation and oversight of services provided

 

This position reports to the Director, Business Analytics and directs the people responsible for and coordinates with the Sales Collection team in Global Business Services.

 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of 1 talented colleague, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations. Additionally, you will oversee and drive the partnership with our GBS team.  
  • Responsible for managing and directing supplier contracts in excess of $ 3 MM
  • Sustain partnership with outside data vendor(s) and execute the strategy to maximize the value of the relationship
  • Design / Defines outlet matching rules and processes that drives system design
  • Defines business rules that drive the technical solutions for data validation and processing
  • Evaluate, inform and support implementation of the business application design including requirements to provide the easiest and most efficient access to company information
  • Develops processes to identify data quality issues and to resolve quickly
  • Works with IT to identify root causes of data quality problems and devise sustainable solutions
  • Support and inform negotiations with third party service providers to manage daily operations for outsourced information
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the commercial teams (SOM’s, Channel / Chain Leads, Marketing Insights, etc.) to establish two way information flow on data needs and quality control processes
  • Drive the relationship with retail outlet data vendor partners to becoming “best in class” to gain competitive advantage

 

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience of 5+ years working with syndicated data suppliers, preferably in a management role or as lead account person
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing breakthrough business system capabilities
  • Advanced database management and systems architecture knowledge
  • Ability to see the big picture with long-term strategic capabilities
  • Ability to effectively leverage the resources across the MBI and partner network
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
