The Headlines:

In the role of Financial Analyst – Record to Report, you will be working in Milwaukee and be part of the Record to Report Accounting team. The person will provide finance support, analysis, and drive continuous improvements to various functions within and outside finance.

 

This position reports to the Team Lead – Record to Report and works closely with Supply Chain and Project Management Office, as well as other Finance Areas.   

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Obtain information from customers and business partners to draw conclusions about business processes, take a systematic approach to evaluating alternatives, and make recommendations to management
  • Use accounting principles and knowledge of internal controls to provide objective, timely, and accurate financial information
  • Use financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide practical counsel to business unit partners and to help drive business results
  • Review, evaluate, and prioritize tasks/project assignments and communicate key issues to management
  • Provide customer service and adhere to GBS KPI’s
  • Support GBS migration initiatives, ensuring business processes and solutions are well defined and documented
  • Facilitate and participate in process workshops with Business SME’s
  • Develop clear and detailed process maps and business requirements, while identifying risk and issues
  • Other assigned duties

 

The Qualifications:
 

  • You have at least 3 years of accounting/financial analyst experience.
  • You have solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • You have experience working in Visio or other process flow software
  • You have strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (SAP, Nielsen, Margin Minder preferred)
  • Experience working on continuous improvement initiatives across cross functional teams
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. 
  • Ability to work in virtual teams, matrixed organization, and fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of Lean Process Principles
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow  
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business
