The Headlines:    

In the role of Asset Care & EHS Manager working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Utilities and EHS.  You will lead plans, manage utilities and engineering requirements through capital and operational budget administration, project execution (plant capital and corporate), and effectively manage Utilities and EHS programs, covering a variety of disciplines.  

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Leads, manages, and coordinates utilities and automation services and assists customer departments by means of analysing specific problems, formulating practical solutions and procuring and installing necessary components to advance and optimize brewery operations. 
  • Pursues and applies up to date knowledge on brewing industry technology and developments.
  • Builds and develops a team of employees in the areas of technical and leadership development. 
  • Responsible for a multi-disciplinary team of direct salaried and hourly reports.  Leads, mentors and develops assigned team in performance and career development.  Promotes and consults with leadership on strategies to create an inclusive and engaging environment.
  • Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs, and related MillerCoors Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP, GMP, and WCSC2.0 to ensure safety and quality of MillerCoors products.

  

The Other Qualifications:  

  • 4-year BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree in Business Management, Project Management or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in an engineering/maintenance.
  • Knowledge of brewing and packaging processes.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic control systems and instrumentation and control devices, materials handling equipment and systems operations, mechanical and hydraulic.
  • Ability to apply automation knowledge “hands-on” in the field to troubleshoot PLC programs, instrumentation, and control valve operation.
  • Possesses ability to handle multiple projects with little guidance or direction
  • Ability to effectively interface and coordinate engineering and maintenance projects to include contracting, coordinating, and managing corporate contractors.
  • Must possess strong working knowledge of the laws, codes and other federal, state and local regulations and guidelines, such as NEC, OSHA
  • Ability to quickly build and develop effective working relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to communicate highly complex issues in simple business terms to a wide variety of stakeholders across the enterprise.
