The Headlines:

In the role of Manager, Advanced Analytics based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be responsible for evaluating new data sets requested by the analytics team and other functional teams, and the creation of the processes to load and prepare the data for use by data science teams. This work may be conducted directly by this resource, or through direct oversight of both internal and external 3rd party resources. In addition, this resource will enable other functions to self-service analytics and data through design and development of capabilities to support their requests. This role will work closely with data science resources to develop a functional product that can be delivered to the business for continued use.

 Finally, this role is expected to build strong relationships with IT business partners, data scientists, and other key resources that rely on data and ensure that data is made available to all functions that can benefit from it. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, and works closely with a variety of internal/external stakeholders.


The Responsibilities:


  • Provides leadership in the application of advanced analytics with a focus on data integration, governance, and processes
  • Aligns projects to link to overall marketing or planning timelines, and uses influence management to anticipate and solve key conflicts/tradeoffs in timing
  • Leads & manages external resources to deliver specific analytics Use Cases, build global analytics capability and a collaborative, high performance working environment
  • Proactively work with business leaders to improve existing analytical techniques, identify business challenges that could be solved with analytics and create work plans to resolve them
  • Translate complex analytics & models into simple, scalable tools, insights & dashboards that can be easily understood, used & actioned effectively by the business



  • Lead the design, development & execution of commercial analytics across multiple functions
  • Works with data integration tools (SQL, Talend, Python) to bring together and interrogate multiple big data sets to deliver reliable accurate data for further analysis
  • Development includes understanding data integration on cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google), as well as working with users to access and understand the data
  • Work across multiple structured & unstructured datasets from disparate sources and markets
  • Quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Adapt and roll-out analytical products or services from individual business areas or countries into wider Molson Coors Business (e.g. USA, Canada, UK, Europe) and vice versa.



  • Transform data science insights into self-service products for use in business functions
  • Manage developed data integrations to ensure ongoing accuracy of data
  • Create data integration pipelines merging multiple large datasets to prepare for further analytics


The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent is required, which might be substituted with additional experience
  • 4+ years of experience working with large datasets building, managing and harmonizing disparate data
  • Proven creative & analytic problem-solving skills in a commercial & consumer context
  • Excellent technical skills in SQL, R, Python, or other languages used in analytics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft EXCEL, SAS, SPSS or equivalent statistical software
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Demonstrated collaboration, communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage work across multiple projects efficiently
