The Headlines:  

The Financial Analyst is a field specialist who works with the Senior Finance Manager for the South America region to control and track all financial aspects of the South America Region. In addition, this position will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager of LATAM consolidation on Free Cash Flow reporting and BME process for the entire LATAM region. The Financial Analyst assists in the development of the team’s annual operating plan and LRP.  Other responsibilities include tracking sales, trade spending management and monitoring the monthly forecast process to ensure the plan is being executed. This role is to support LATAM's strategic initiatives of driving profitable and sustainable growth. The Financial Analyst works closely with  Sales and Marketing personnel to support these functions as directed by the Senior Finance Manager.

Education

  • B.A. or B.S.
  • MBA in Finance or Accounting or CPA preferred 

Skills and Relevant Work Experience

  • 2 – 5 years meaningful accounting experience, preferably in the CPG industry
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Understanding and experience with financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Knowledge of internal audit, accrual process, P&L and balance sheet management and profitability
  • Strong systems experience, especially MS Excel. Knowledge of other Microsoft Office products. SAP experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with different disciplines (i.e. Sales, Mktg, Mfg, etc.)
  • Record of working in a matrix organization
  • Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years with a mid to large size publicly traded company
  • Apply project management expertise to support delivery of LPR/AOP
  • Strong analytical/quantitative skills and knowledge
  • Possess the ability to appropriately challenge, ensuring decisions and assumptions are based on best available information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with presentation experience
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage concurrent cross-functional projects
  • Team player with ability to foster relationships with various departments
  • Flexibility in expectations and ability to adapt to changes in plan or focus.
