The Headlines: 

 

Support plant utilities systems and teams through safe and effective execution of assigned maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repair of various types of equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, fans, etc.. Communicate details of work execution to plant teams, leaders, and through SAP work order tracking system

 

Must have the necessary experience, aptitude, and education to perform mechanical duties such as set-up, adjustment, troubleshooting, P.M. inspections, overhaul and make equipment improvements when necessary. Assist in the training of new employees and trainees. Performs all work in a safe manner always demonstrating proper use of safety equipment.


Assures customer satisfaction through identifying, as an individual and as a member of a work unit, the internal and external customers; jointly determine customer needs and means of measurement to deliver mutually agreed upon products/services. Continually investigate methods to improve customer satisfaction to achieve the goal of quality relationships. Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment.

 

The Responsibilities: 

 

  • Contributes to a safe workplace by performing all tasks in accordance with all applicable safety codes, regulations, and policies. (OSHA, EPA, FDA, Lock-out/Tag-out, confined space entry, etc.)

  • Contributes to customer satisfaction by providing feedback for all customer requests.

  • Works as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision while functioning as a productive team member.

 

  • Dismantles, inspects, and rebuilds mechanical assemblies to insure conformance to specifications or production requirements.  

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience (Heavy Industrial Mechanical Field)
  • Experience with rotating machinery (i.e., Turbines, Compressors, Pumps, Etc.)
  • Basic understanding of heat-exchanger theory.
  • Welding, Pipefitting, Rigging/Hoisting, Lifts (Scissor, Etc.)
  • Familiarity/Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance philosophy/procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to use OEM manuals and drawings/schematics.
